Studio credits pay for AI generations in Studio — the images and videos Pascal’s generation models produce from your scene. Everything else in Pascal is free: building, sharing, and the AI assistant don’t use credits.

Free credits every day

Every account gets a daily allowance of free credits, which resets at midnight UTC. Unused free credits don’t roll over to the next day. The current allowance is shown in the “Studio credits” section of your settings. Free credits are always spent first; purchased credits are only used once the day’s free allowance runs out.

What generations cost

Each generation’s cost depends on the model and the output you ask for:
  • Images are charged per image, and the price varies with the model and the output resolution or quality tier you pick.
  • Videos are charged per second, and the price varies with the model and the resolution.
The exact cost is always shown in the compose panel before you generate — next to the generate button you’ll see the calculation (for example 2 images × 8 = 16) and how many credits you have left. Models in the picker carry badges like “PRO” (highest fidelity), “FAST” (quick and cheap iteration), and “NEW”, so you can trade quality against cost per attempt. If a generation fails, the purchased credits it consumed are refunded automatically.

Buying credits

Purchased credits never expire. To buy a pack:
  1. Open Settings and find the “Studio credits” section, then click “Buy credits” — or click “Buy more credits” directly in the studio compose panel when your balance runs short.
  2. Pick a credit pack. Current pack sizes and prices are listed in the dialog.
  3. Click “Continue to payment” to check out securely with Stripe.
If you have a promotion code, you can apply it on the payment page — the checkout has a promotion code field. Credits land on your account as soon as the payment completes.

Where to see your balance

  • Settings — the “Studio credits” section shows your total, how much of today’s free allowance is left, and your purchased balance.
  • In the editor — when Studio mode is active, your total balance appears in the navbar, and the compose panel footer shows how many credits remain after the generation you’ve set up.
