Connect Pascal to Claude and Claude can open your hosted Pascal projects, read what is in them, and create or change walls, rooms, doors, windows, roofs, stairs and furniture. Changes are saved to the same projects you open in the Pascal editor, so you can watch Claude work and continue by hand. You sign in once with your Pascal account. There is no API key to copy.

What you need

  • A Pascal account with a verified email address.
  • A Claude plan that lets you add connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an organization Owner may need to add Pascal for the organization first; each member then connects their own Pascal account.

Connect in Claude or Claude Desktop

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Enter the server URL:
  3. Choose Connect. A Pascal window opens.
  4. Sign in to Pascal, or create an account.
  5. Choose the workspace Claude should work in: Personal projects or one of your organization workspaces.
  6. Check that the page says the request comes from claude.ai, review the access listed, and choose Allow access.
  7. Return to Claude. Pascal now appears in your connectors.
Ask Claude something like “List my Pascal projects” or “Open my studio project and add a window to the north wall” to try it.

Connect in Claude Code

Start Claude Code, run /mcp, select pascal and choose to authenticate. Your browser opens the same Pascal sign-in and review page. Claude Code returns through a local address on your computer, such as 127.0.0.1, so Pascal shows an extra warning: continue only if you just started the connection from Claude Code yourself. Claude Code can also use a Pascal API key instead; see Connect an AI agent.

What Claude can do

Pascal asks you to approve two kinds of access, and the review page lists both: Each Pascal tool tells Claude whether it only reads or can change your work. Claude uses that to decide when to ask you first; your own Claude permission settings decide the rest. The connection acts only in the workspace you chose, with your own access to its projects. It does not let Claude publish projects to the community or change your account, and Pascal’s paid AI services, such as Studio renders, are not offered to Claude. When Claude asks for a view of the scene and no editor tab has the project open, Pascal can render the view on its own servers for credits. That happens only if you turn on Can spend credits for Claude under Connected apps; it is off when you connect. Keep the project open in the editor and views are free.

Disconnect

Open Connected apps in Pascal and choose Disconnect next to Claude. Claude loses access at once. You can also remove the connector in Claude. To switch workspaces, disconnect and connect again, choosing the other workspace.

Troubleshooting

  • “Sign in with a verified personal Pascal account.” Verify your email address in Pascal, then connect again. Agent accounts cannot connect to Claude.
  • “This connection has expired or been revoked.” Connect again from Claude. This also happens after you disconnect Claude in Pascal.
  • Claude does not see a project. Check that it belongs to the workspace you chose when connecting.
