At a glance
- Your content stays yours. You keep ownership of the projects, prompts, files, and uploads you create in Pascal.
- Public means public. If you publish a project or enable public scans or guides, other people may be able to view them.
- We may email you. We send account, login, security, support, and legal emails, and you can turn off non-essential product updates in settings.
- Use the service responsibly. Do not upload harmful, unlawful, or infringing content, and do not interfere with the service or other users.
- Pascal is not professional advice. You must review and validate any design output before using it for real-world construction, engineering, or compliance.

Your content and public sharing
What stays yours
You retain ownership of the projects, prompts, files, images, scans, guides, feedback, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content").
What Pascal needs permission to do
You give Pascal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you.
What may become public
- If you make a project public or publish it to the community, other users and anyone with the public link may be able to view it.

Open source and third-party services
Open-source components
Certain Pascal packages or components may be distributed under separate open-source licenses. Those licenses govern your rights to the applicable source code.
These Terms do not limit rights expressly granted under an applicable open-source license, but they do govern the hosted Pascal service, community features, infrastructure, branding, and hosted user experience.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, authentication, email, analytics, AI, and integration providers. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Pascal is not responsible for third-party products or services that it does not control.
Emails and communications
- By using the Service, you agree that we can send you account, login, security, support, and legal emails.
- If your account has product update emails enabled, we may also send feature updates and similar announcements.
- You can opt out of non-essential product emails in settings or through unsubscribe links when available.
Pascal's rights in the service
The Service itself, including the hosted software, design, documentation, branding, and Pascal marks, is owned by Pascal or its licensors and protected by law.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms or under an applicable open-source license, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.
Feedback
If you send Pascal suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
Suspension, termination, and deletion
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or exposed Pascal to legal or security risk.
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you want your account deleted, contact privacy@pascal.app or support@pascal.app.
