Pascal Capture support

Help, FAQs, and how to reach us

Pascal Capture is a companion app for Pascal Editor that uses your iPhone or iPad to scan real rooms and turn them into editable 3D floorplans. This page covers the most common questions; if you can’t find what you need, email us at the address at the bottom.

Getting started

  1. Open Pascal Capture and sign in with Apple, Google, or your email address (we send a 6-digit code).
  2. From the Projects tab, pick or create a project, then pick or create a level.
  3. Tap the Scan tab and press Start scan. Walk slowly around the room to capture walls, doors, windows, and furniture.
  4. When the scanner finishes, name the room and confirm its position. The room is then available in Pascal Editor on editor.pascal.app.

Supported devices

Room scanning uses Apple’s RoomPlan framework, which needs a LiDAR sensor. That means scanning works on:

You also need iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.

iPad Air, iPad mini, and the base iPad don’t have LiDAR, so they can’t scan rooms. You can still sign in on those devices to view your projects, but the Scan tab will show a not-supported message.

Account & data

You can delete your Pascal account directly from the app: open the Account tab, tap Delete account, and follow the confirmation prompts. This permanently removes your account, scans, and project ownership. Public projects you created stay published but are no longer linked to your profile.

If you can’t sign in to your account, follow the steps on the account deletion help page to request manual deletion.

Privacy & terms

See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how it’s used, and our Terms of Service for the rules around using Pascal.
